Experience The Double Formatting Drive For Burning DVD's
The BenQ DW-822A is the only double formatted drive that works with DVDR/RW (+ and -). Boasting speeds of 8x for DVDR(+) and 4x for rewriting on DVDRW (+), driver gives you the best function and performance of any of the others available. You can finish a burn of 4.7 Gigabytes in about 10 minutes!
You will see that the variations in this and other products is the buffer size of 8X. It has a fast read speed of 40x and a write speed of 24X for CD's. It does not work with DVDRAM and C2 information on errors.
The writing option works with all formats except the DVDRAM or Mount Rainier formats. The writing options also work with TAO, SAO, Dao, and RAW formats. The burner is supported by the RPC II control for the region giving the user the ability to vary the drives region up to five times.
 The DVDR (+) Dual layer upgrade for recording supports R9+ and also take the DVDR discs and double the amount of data storage it holds giving you an 8.5 gigabyte storage unit. It also gives you the advantage of putting your information on one DVD and having the quality stay intact.

Smart Writing Control
with Walking Optimal Power Control technology finds the best way for you to burn the DVD and automatically fixes the settings on the drive to give you the best performance in power for disc burning. This, in turn, writes in the best quality ever. Tilt Control lets the drive write in a ninety degree angle on the surface of the disc so that each mark is in line and with the most quality.
The Sliding Cone Mechanism on this BenQ DW820A burner drive will lower the data time for accessing and give you the highest writing and reading abilities. Sliding Cone gives you a better hold on the disc and this makes the reading better especially on uneven discs.
The Black-Colored Tray is added to stop the shaking that causes reading and writing to be distorted.
