Pioneer DVR-108
External DVD Burner offering fast 16 x speeds for the DVDR (- or +) formats
Pioneer DVR-108 is a multiple format writer that works with 16 x speeds for both of the DVDR (+ or-) formatting. It also writes at speeds of 4x on dual layer media discs. You can add 4.7 gigabytes of data to a media disc that only allows writing one time and in about ten minutes, you will be finished.
DVR-108 has authoring capabilities, editing tools, video file storage, digital catalogs for music, image library construction, and data backup. This multiple format writer has a precise laser that will focus and spin the disc with control and an automatic tilt system that gives you better accuracy whne recording and playing.
Pioneer included Precision Recording with this machine to show you how to have a better quality recording experience and low noise from the equipment.
Burning multiple 8x DVDR (- or +) formatted discs is not a problem. you may even hit speeds of 12x as an average. For recordings that are .25 percent finished and those more than 4.3 gigabytes, it will hit a 16x speed. Double layer discs will burn at 4x speeds.
The outside of this drive is stylish. you get a power cord, rear port and cables to go with it for the USB2 and Firewire devices.
