The DVD Plextor px-708A has the ability to give you fast in double formatting with the 8X DVDR (+) writing, 4X DVDR (-) writing, 4X DVDRW (+) rewriting, 2X DVDRW (-) rewriting, and 12X DVDROM (-) reading. Also, you can record, rewrite and read DVD discs in double format, the PX-708A works with the 40X CDR (-) for writing, 24X CDRW (-) for rewriting and 40X CDROM (-) reading speeds. This is all contained in one drive. Make a 4.7 gigabyte disc on DVD in 8 minutes flat.
DVD plextor 708A has a double format recorder that works with the DVDR (- or +) and the DVDRW (- or +) formats. For examle, it works with a 4x DVDRW (+) recording and a 4x DVDR (-) recording and CD media can be done with speeds of 40x CDR (-) for recording and 24x CDRW (-) for recording. With the Plextor PX-708A, you have everything you need all in one package. This software lets you make your home videos, backup files, creating picture collections, downloading music, etc...
Supported by Windows 9x/ME/2k/XP. Apple users will have to use the UF version which is external. The drive works with the Buffer Underrun Proof, Plextor's own PoweRec invention, Lossless linking, zero link, multiread compatible, and SPDIF capable. The access times are <100ms for CD's and 150ms for DVD discs.
